This illustration was created as package art for a collectible coin I worked on. The coin was part of a series of “dice coins” developed by Goliath Coins for use when playing table-top rpg’s.
This featured d6 weapons (scimitar and mace) as featured in the Dungeons and Dragons rules set.
BUILDING A HAPPY, SUCCESSFUL LIFE IS LIKE REACHING FOR THE MOON. At least that’s how Adam sees it as he journeys through a surreal landscape where New York City and nightmarish sci-fi landscapes bleed together. He navigates the dangers in search of purpose, drawn by his ever-present, inscrutable muse, the moon. Every challenge seems to leave him frustrated and further from his goals. Can his muse lead him to something that will rocket him into the stratosphere? Or is he destined to fall into a black hole of eternal misery?

I created this as part of a “May the 4th” series of Star Wars art. Illustrating a mythology within a mythology and mixing it with a classic Renaissance image was next-level meta and had me grinning the whole time.
I created a series of retro wax pack collectible cards featuring North American cryptids in a terrifying blacklight art style.
The 9 card set also included a matching wrapper and an exclusive sticker for a Halloween oriented event called Nightmare Weekend.
This was package art for the d8 dice coin I designed for Goliath Coins. The longbow and long sword are both considered d8 weapons in Dungeons and Dragins, so made perfect sense to be depicted fighting the undead here in this image.
I was listening to a podcast and heard an interview with a young , up and coming director of a low budget horror movie called CICADA!. I reached out and shared an illustration inspired by the interview. The director liked it so much they came back and commissioned me when it was time to do the cover art for their film release.
I loved working on this project and learned a lot about reaching out to other people who share an interest.
Character designs for an upcoming comics project, this story is set in a fantasy world where nothing is as it seems and every narrator is unreliable.
I wanted the characters, even the “heroes” to feel dangerous.
This is another comic cover I created for Goliath Coins. This was one of my most technical commissions, requiring me to get a lot of accurate detail into the weapons and gear. Still, It has a great horror feel and was a lot of fun to work on.
I was commissioned to create covers for several comic books as part of a new product line for Goliath Coins. This was one of the first few to get produced and is one of my favorites. I enjoyed working out the expressions of all the goblins.
While working on a collectors coin set for Chaosium and their Call of Cthulhu game, I did a deep dive into the works of H.P. Lovecraft. His short stories sparked my inspiration and led directly to the birth of this illustration.
The Masked One goes by many other names: The Black Pharaoh, Crawling Chaos, God of a Thousand Forms, Stalker among the Stars, The Faceless God. The Soul and Messenger of the Other Gods and…Nyarlathotep.
This is another illustration for a Goliath Coins collection of dragon coins.. The lawful gold dragon needed to feel regal and literally above other fallible mortals. He judges all from his lofty perch!
Goliath Coins partnered with Chaosium to produce a series of collectible coins for their Call of Cthulhu TTRPG. I was lucky enough to work on the entire set, creating art for both the front and back of each coin, and the package art for each.
This is the final package art from the Cthulhu coin, along with the design for the back of the coin.
This illustration was created as the d12 package art for a dice coin set produced by Goliath Coins. A battle axe and lance, both d12 weapons in Dungeons and Dragons, are depicted here facing off against a hydra.
Tars Tarkas was a Martian warrior in Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Barroom series. This coin and package art was created for a series of collectible coins produced in partnership between Goliath Coins and the Burroughs estate in 2023. The coins celebrate the Centennial of the founding of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. After being produced during the anniversary year all the molds for this set were then destroyed.
This image of two best bud cryptid fancy boys, Mothman and Chupacabra was created for the NY MYSTERY MACHINE podcast. I took inspiration from my recent Moonlit Monsters trading cards and adapted to the needs and tone of the podcast.
It was intended to be a T-shirt. But oh…it became so much more.
This comic cover was part of a new product line for Goliath Coins and was another of my favorites. The forced perspective and explosive color were lots of fun.
This is a favorite cover concept from a series of alternate comic covers I created. Imagine if Luke Cage, Powerman, were to get his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet - Infinite Powerman!
I like the juxtaposition of a street hero like Luke Cage literally punching out a cosmic being like Galactus.
The art for this deadly dracolich was created as part of a set of collectible dragon coins produced by Goliath Coins. I first designed the line art for the coin and then digitally painted it to for use as the package art.
Despite the years of Hasbro designing and distributing sets of Marvel action figures, there had never been a set of X-men designed from “The Fall of the Mutants” comics storyline. Fans would have really enjoyed owning figures from this beloved era.
Sadly, the figures in this line have, so far, gone unproduced.
Another of my alternate cover sketches, this one features Dick Grayson on laundry night - the only time he would be caught dead in his old 80’s costume.
His 90’s costume tumbles in the washer and his Robin costume sits in the basket waiting to get those blood stains out with Ssssmile-X!
One of my most serious and intense pieces, despite the title. I was aiming for horror movie feel with a bit of noir pulp art thrown in for good measure. This is another comic cover for Goliath Coins.
nspired by George Perez and his work on the Teen Titans, I wanted to take the clearly defined personalities he had established- Cyborg was a wholesome, good-natured hero - Deathstroke was a violent, self-serving jerk - and turn that on it’s head.
I am proud of this one, mostly for the moody inking, but also for the final illustration living up to the initial vision.
I was commissioned to create three heroic images of water bottles for a hydration awareness project in the Richmond City school district in Virginia. These were turned into posters that were placed around the schools, educating students on the importance of drinking plenty of water during the Spring and Summer months.
